Replenish your bathroom cupboard

Updated: Oct 15, 2019

This week I’m giving you my months/years of testing and collating my favourite Organic and more ‘natural’ products.

1.) Hair.

I met Tabitha & James at a Soil Association beauty event earlier this year and took part in a workshop where I got to use all their products. Tabitha James Kraan has specialised in organic hairdressing for almost two decades. Her dry shampoo for brunette is my go-to and blows Batiste out the water.

2.) Bar of soap.

Recently I switched from my plastic bottled body wash back to a simple bar of soap. It’s far more cost effective, less waste and they just last forever. My favourite soaps switch between the Bamford Pebble soaps or Dr Bronner's All-One Hemp Lavender Pure-Castile Bar soap (which I use to clean my make-up brushes too.)

3.) Pits.

I’ve tried them all. Crystals to natural sprays which were hit and miss but ‘The Natural Deodorant’ I discovered two years ago and have never looked back. Switch from those nasty aerosols to this award winning Clean Deodorant Balm.

4.) Body.

Beautiful bottles that standing alone in your bathroom look like works of art. Luxury brand La’Eva have scents (Blu, Roseum, Jasmina, Spice) supporting everyday holistic wellbeing. With too much choice out there and many of us using an average of 12 products (168 chemicals) per day the body lotion makes life less complicated by serving as a moisturiser for hands, body and face. Problem solved.

5.) Lips.

After using Carmex for years and probably swallowing half of it in my sleep I found By Sarah London. A beautiful brand offering 100% organic 100% natural lip balm (but I also use it on rough patches and scars!). I've tried lots of other 'natural' lip balms and they've been as effective as Vaseline (not very) but By Sarah has completely replaced my Carmex obsession.

Recently been labelled wonder balm from Elle and winner of Natural Health Beauty Awards 2018 this little pot contains Cocos nucifera (Virgin Coconut Oil)*, Prunus Armeniaca (Apricot) Oil*, Cera alba (Beeswax) *100% Organic.

No Parabens, No Sulfates, No Silicones, No Petroleum, No Mineral Oils, No Synthetic Ingredients, No Fillers, No Artificial Fragrance, No Colours or Dyes.
