Bumble Bee Cottage

Set within the herb garden and the listed 16th century manor house, the cottage is a secluded and tranquil escape made for two (or one), complete with log burning stove. Includes sitting room, bathroom and kitchen.

Songbird Cottage

This enchanting pocket-sized cottage is hidden away on a private estate. It is a perfect bolthole for two that offers luxurious accommodation in beautiful private grounds that open onto meadows and the lakes beyond. Includes sitting room, bathroom and kitchen.

Fuchsia Cottage

The cottage is a secluded cosy holiday let with its own little courtyard, perfect for a group of four. Nestled in the grounds of a 17th Century estate, with freedom to roam the beautifully manicured gardens and free use of the tennis court. Includes sitting room, bathroom and kitchen.

8 bed dormitory for grown-ups

Scandinavian style dormitory has eight adult bunk beds in a stylish, cosy, clean spacious room, with 3 modern toilet and shower facilities.

So what does a typical day look like? 

Arriving Thursday by 5pm followed by yoga & delicious plant based dinner.

Friday-Saturday

8am - 9.30am: Vinyasa Yoga with a guided meditation to finish

10.30am Brunch

12.30 - 1.30pm Workshop

1.30 - 6pm Free time for long walks /relax/reading by the fire/ holistic treatments (include massage, reiki, reflexology)

4pm Tea time

4.30pm - 5.30pm Group coaching session (depending on your allocation)

6-7pm Yin Yoga

7.30pm Delicious plant based Dinner

Optional movie night after dinner.

Sunday

Morning yoga followed by brunch and a workshop. Goodbyes by 1.30pm.

The coaching with Milla

Milla is a health and lifestyle coach based in London, guiding and supporting individuals to reach their health goals and make lasting, sustainable changes to their health and happiness. She works with her clients on a carefully tailored Tired to Transformed 6 or 12 week programme or offers a Luxury Transformational Day, designed for the busy both men and women flat out juggling household, family and work. She works on getting to the root cause of the problem rather than treating the root cause as to why you may be stuck in the same dysfunctional patters or perhaps self sabotaging. 

January will come and go which means many Brits would have already broken their New Year resolutions. Why do we so often fall back into our unhealthy habits that just don’t serve us? Why are they so hard to keep?

This retreat isn’t for setting New Year resolutions. Instead we’re going to set your health & lifestyle goals for 2019.

Remember: health is not a goal, it’s a launch pad. You may want to get off the sugar, lose some weight or have more energy but for what? You need to think about your end goal and with the support from Milla together we will clear the path to get there.

How the Yoga will go with Minnie Samengo-Turner.

Our yoga practice will be based around the idea of rooting down and grounding. After the craziness of Christmas and New Year January is the perfect time to reflect, cleanse and reset. As our society promotes our yang way of living constantly moving, striving and achieving we must make sure we have enough time for our Yin side – simply just being. In Chinese medicine we need to have a balance of both the yin and the yang to achieve good health.

 In the morning, expect grounding and creative vinyasa flow inspired sequences encouraging you to move slower and more consciously, with lots of twists to help remove toxins and build internal heat. The evening will consist of nourishing Yin Yoga, where we hold simple poses for longer. This starts to work beyond the muscles and goes deeper into the fascia and connective tissue. As you drop down into your parasympathetic nervous system allowing you body to heal itself, this is where the magic happens! Expect lots of blankets, bolsters, candles and essential oils to set you up for a deep healing sleep.

Skill Level

Different variations suitable for all levels, pushing yourself if you want, but most importantly encouraging you to listen to your body.
